Our Little Chef

I made applesauce in October and Cooper must have been feeling left out. He got a pot, a pan, and an onion out of the cupboards and peeled and "cooked" it. He even found the correct lid for the pot. He would lift the lid and check on his onion ever couple seconds. Creative cooking at the very least.

Carving Pumpkins

Dad and Cooper cleaned out the pumpkin while Sadie and Mom watched. Mom carved most of it, but by the time we finished, Sadie was so ready for bed she was not in the mood to be photographed. Cooper thought it was fun to play in the pumpkin goop and color on the clean up paper. Also, he really liked the flashlight in the pumpkin. (How do you have not a single candle anywhere in the house? Oh well.)

Random Favorites of Sadie in October

What a loving brother! Cooper loved (and still loves) to hold and kiss his baby sister any chance he gets. He does really well with her most of the time. Hopefully they stay that way. On Sunday Sadie moved from the occasional "he" giggle to a real one. Want to know what got it? Not the tickling, the funy voices, not songs, or even Mom or Dad in any way. She turned herself all the way around so she could watch Cooper put a Christmas stocking on his head and she just giggled and giggled at him. They are both crazy!
(He's not always so loving. I did leave out the pictures of him whacking her belly and my personal favorite, his finger right in her eye.)

Indianapolis

At the beginning of October, Grandma Coates visited Spencer's Aunt Adele in Indianapolis. We went to visit too so we could see everyone. The kids did great for the drive and were spoiled rotten by all the attention while we were there. It has been fun to get to see the Pfeils more since we live out here.

Happy 50th Month Anniversary Us

September 30 was our 50th month anniversary. For some reason we were counting months of marriage a couple weeks before it and I even remembered it for that long to make a pie.

More Randomness from September

I thought he was lovingly covering Sadie with his blanket, but turns out he just wanted a pillow covered in his blanket.

I love those beginning smiles.

Cooper and I went on a tour at an apple farm and it was really interesting. I learned a lot and give it a couple years and Cooper may too. It was quite an adventure with both kids.

Random Cooper Catchup from September

Cooper likes to sit on the counter while I work in the kitchen. Oops, WAY too close to the zucchini brownies.

Wow, that is disgusting. Yet, somehow it always makes me smile.

The "sit in every container I can find" phase.

Oh no, texting starts way too early.

Catchup of Sadie fromSeptember

Just a little catch up. Here are some pictures of Sadie from September. It's so crazy to look back and see how much she has grown. Such a doll, if I do say so myself!

Playing at the Park

Playing at the park. Liam's mom was smart and undressed him. Cooper just fell in the water twice, clothes and all. They had a blast together.
