Randomness from the End of January

Okay, I promise I'll get caught up today so you can stop hearing about forever ago, but here are a couple stories I just couldn't let slide.

For at least two weeks Cooper took the brownies and mushrooms out of the pantry and took them to the bottom of the stairs at least twice a day. I don't know what the fascination was but thank goodness that these days he just empties the pantry on the floor in front of it. I'm getting a little worried about his cooking sense.

What else can you say but, "Check out that tongue!" I love this extremely happy girl.

For a Friday family date night we took a trip to the pet store. I remember how we used to beg to visit the pet store when I was little and I thought Cooper may like it. He did! Spence and I forgot how much pet stores stink, but Cooper's glee made it completely worth it. We even came home with three 13 cent goldfish, which Cooper named Bliss (or maybe he said fish), Noni (or maybe he just meant no), and Fishy. He loved them, and I say loved because unfortunately, not even one of them made it to three weeks. So sad.

Cooper loves to help. After a shopping trip I usually let him wander slowly to the house. This time I had to make three trips. On the second one I called him to the car and gave him a bag to carry in. On my third time out he was to the end of the sidewalk but the bag had a hole from being drug. He bent over and picked up each thing as it fell out. He made it to the house with everything and was quite the balancing act. What a helpful boy!
