Picnic at the Park

Yesterday Katie, Lucas, Cooper, and I went on a picnic at a park that is close, Pine Grove Park maybe. It was our first outing with baby Lucas. He is so cute! Cooper watched the stream for a long time and loved watching the kids that were playing there. Eventually he discovered Lucas. He loved standing at Lucas' car seat and oh so helpfully covering him up on the very warm day. I think it is so funny that he was fascinated with taking care of the baby since he is just still so little himself. How do they learn these things? I think I'm going to have one busy "helper" when Sadie gets here! Today we went to Whipple Dam and had a picnic. It is so nice to have friends that like to do things out here! It was beautiful. Cooper spent a lot of time watching people swim but when I dipped his feet in the water all I got was a piercing scream. Cold water is just not Cooper's thing! We'll have to go back a bit later in the season when hopefully it's warmed up to his standard. It's a tiny little thing, so I can't imagine it will take that long to heat up.
