Reality Hits

Yesterday we went to the doctor for a Sadie checkup. She is doing great. Her heartbeat was 137 and I forgot to ask what I was measuring, but everything it normal. Always reassuring to hear and we still just love to hear her little heartbeat. She is head down and has been for quite a while, so I doubt she is going anywhere. It was a little bit of a scary appointment though because we are down to weekly appointments where they actually check to see if your body is progressing. I am 30-40% effaced and about 1 cm dilated. SCARY! I guess I've known that she is going to get here, but for some reason hearing that helped reality start to sink in a little bit more. I still have way too much to do before then, but it is so fun to picture those little hands and feet poking the air instead of my left side. (But hey, it's not the ribs, right?) I can't believe how fast this pregnancy has gone and we can't wait to meet you, little Sadie bug!
