February 2011

In February we finally made it home to Spencer and boy were we excited to see him. The weather was warm enough for a couple of park days and then much much colder for some fun in the snow. It was nice to be back together after such a long time apart.

2/11/11
At our tea party today I showed Cooper and Sadie how to daintily hold
their cups by the handle. After only 3 mishaps Sadie figured it out
and drank her next 30 cupfuls that way. (Turns out 1 tablespoon of
lemonade is not that satisfying and the kids can drink A LOT of them.
And Sadie would rather eat a banana than a chocolate cream puff. Weird
girl.)

Cooper trying to hit hit golf ball into his hole (from on the verge
mind you...and after three misses) Hit's the ball  and looks down
dejectedly and says, "Come on. Come on golf ball." I'm afraid he's
going to be a golfer like his Grandpa Murphey and Grandpa James.

2/13/11
The other night we were singing Cooper how much is that doggie in the
window and after we can "I don't want a bowl of little fishes" we
paused and asked why he didn't want fishes. His reply "Them die." So
funny and already an expert goldfish owner.

 2/23/11
We went to the temple on Feb 23 and we were stopping to eat on the way home from DC. As we were getting off the freeway Cooper said "Don't take Tomtom inside." When Spencer asked why he said, "He eat my food!"

Same trip waiting with the kids at the temple for Spencer to come out I told Cooper he was such a smart boy. He said, "You the biggest girl in the whole wide world." Wow...the whole wide world, huh?
