We drove to Punxatawney, PA to meet Phil the groundhog (because turns out, PA is always too cold on Feb 2). On the way home Cooper had me explain to him three times what groundhogs day was so he could teach it to Daddy.

I was talking a nap on the couch while I had the kids watching a cartoon and I woke up tucked in with Sadie's blanket. We are talking about the blanket she gets mad at other kids for accidentally touching. I felt privileged.

Sadie chose "temple" for our FHE song. Cooper chose "getting baptized" for our lesson. It was cute. Cooper can sing all of "I Love to See the Temple" by himself. I got him videoed this morning and it was adorable.

Cooper came home from Co-op and said, "I want a playroom." I told him that maybe we could have on in our next house. After a couple minutes he said, "Maybe our next house could be in Washington." (on a side note. when Grandpa heard Cooper wanted a playroom he started trying to figure out how to get him one. When he and Grandma came in November for Parker's birth they gave Cooper his way. THANK YOU!!! Our house feels SO much better!)

Getting ready for preschool I pulled Cooper's jeans down a little so they didn't look too short. He looked at me a bit distressed and said, "But Mom, then people will see my underwear!"

Cooper got to pet a llama at preschool and I was having him tell Spencer about it at dinner so I asked, "What did you pet at school today, Cooper?" Sadie jumped right in with "Doggie!" (see a pattern?) Cooper just looked at her kind of disgusted and said, "I did NOT pet a dog."

Sadie would not walk at the pumpkin patch because of the dirt. What a girly girl!
